    Job Summary:


    The Physical Therapist (PT) is a professional member of the health care team who provides Physical Therapy services to patients in compliance with all applicable practice acts. The Physical Therapist performs duties within standards of clinical practice as defined by the Department of Professional Regulation, the American Physical Therapy Association and the policies and procedures of the agency, and who functions under the direction of a physician and nursing supervisor in the deliverance of skilled Physical Therapy care to the client.



    The ideal candidate(s) must be licensed to practice as a PT in the State of Florida and a minimum of one year's experience in home healthcare is preferred. Electronic medical record experience preferred but not essential.

    Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program or equivalent education. Meets all qualifications as stated within the state practice act. Must possess and maintain current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.  Must display good emotional health and be able to physically tolerate much standing, stooping, bending, and heavy lifting; must meet all agency regulations.  Must be self-directed and able to work with little supervision and have good observational, judgment and communication skills.
